10/28  Halloween Hayride in Northport sponsored by the Northport Chamber of Commerce. Each child will take home a pumpkin and Halloween treats.

Weekends & Weekdays in October:  "Rise of the Jack-O-Lanterns" at Old Westbury Gardens - over 5000 hand carved pumpkins light up the night at this treasured historic mansion. This unique walk-thru experience is suitable for all ages and takes about 1 hour. Advance tickets are required.

Bayville Scream Park is a blast although quite scary and not recommended for children under 10. Younger children can enjoy "Not so Scary" days on Saturday and Sundays till 6pm.

Get spooked at Schmitt Farms Haunted Mansion & Night-time Haunted Maze in Melville.

Enjoy hayrides and see the all new animated story ‘Otto and the Pirate Ship’ at Hicks Nursery in Westbury.
