Elena & Joyce are active supporters of North Shore Holiday House

Since 1914 North Shore Holiday House, an independent, not-‐for-‐profit organization, has provided free summer experiences to more than 200 children each summer from low-income communities. Accredited by the American Camping Association, we engage campers in traditional camp activities. Our camp serves girls ages 7-11 from underserved families whose incomes meet the USDA guidelines for free or reduced lunch. Camp is 100% free of charge to participants. During four, two-week sessions, over 200 girls from Long Island make new friends, learn new skills, and have fun. Camp is 100% free of charge to participants.

Elena, Joyce, Niki, & Ashley host 1st book-raiser for Books For Babies

The event was held at Lucky To Live Here Realty and had over 200 people attend. Books for Babies raised over $2000 in raffles and 1000+ baby books for their cause. 

Books for Babies  is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that seeks to promote literacy and a love for learning for babies ages birth through four years old by donating new or gently used books to underprivileged families. The goal is to raise awareness of the importance of literacy in babies and toddlers, the impact reading will have on them for the rest of their lives and what we can all do to make a difference.

Kevin used his remodeling skills for the United Veterans Beacon House

Kevin donated his time and skills to build a rear deck at the Freeport Beacon House among other projects.

Beacon House provides housing in 42 locations throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties. On any given day, over 255 men, women and children from the tri-state area benefit from programs that address homelessness, physical disabilities, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury, mental health issues and addiction. Non-veterans, too, have access to housing, drug/alcohol addiction services and job skills/readiness development programs. 

Amanda and family are donating their time to LI Cares Fall Food Drive

On Sunday November 18th, Amanda and her family will be collecting food in Huntington Stop and Shop for the Harry Chapin Food Drive of LI Cares.

"Our mission is to bring together all available resources for the benefit of the hungry on Long Island, and provide to the best of our ability for the humanitarian needs of our community.We provide food when and where it’s needed, sponsor programs that promote self-sufficiency and educate the public about the causes and consequences of hunger on Long Island. Our vision is a hunger-free Long Island."

Jorge participates in fundraising events for The Morgan Center

Jorge participates in the Colonial Springs Charity Bowl yearly. Which is one of The Morgan Center's fundraising events that helps fund their cause.

THE MORGAN CENTER is a 501(c)(3) not for profit charitable organization dedicated to providing preschool age children who are undergoing treatment for cancer the opportunity to interact and socialize, in a safe environment that stimulates cognitive and social development. Children on chemotherapy treatment have a suppressed immune system, and could otherwise risk infection and serious illness by attending typical age appropriate preschool programs.

Cindy contributes to fundraising for ovarian cancer awareness

Cindy at the T.E.A.L. Tell Every Amazing Lady fundraiser photo'd. Lucky To Live Here and local businesses donated raffle baskets to the event. Cindy will be working with this organization to do additional fundraisers to bring more awareness to this disease.

T.E.A.L. stands for both Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer Louisa M. McGregor Ovarian Cancer Foundation and for Teal, the color that symbolizes Ovarian Cancer. Founded in 2009 by two sisters from Brooklyn, NY to draw attention to Ovarian Cancer, T.E.A.L. has grown to become a national movement.  Our goal is to decrease mortality rates by helping women identify signs and symptoms and urging them to seek medical help at the earliest possible stages.

Christina is Vice President for the Nassau/Suffolk Horseman's Association

The Nassau-Suffolk Horsemen’s Association is an all- volunteer non-profit 501(c)3 charitable, educational & service organization that has worked since 1967 to promote humane equine practices, to educate horse people and the public concerning equine matters and to represent the concerns of all equine activities and interests. We are also dedicated to preserving open space and a clean environment in the best interest of all equines, equestrians and Long Islanders.

Catherine, Sari, Elena, & Joyce supplied reusable totes for the Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts Troop 2106 Norwood Ave School handed out Lucky To Live Here reusable totes to complete a community service project at Giunta's Meat Farms in Northport.
